Remember, that when you are reading the bible, you are not just reading some stories, you are reading God's word . . . God is speaking to you!

Ask God to enlighten you and teach you. Ask him to show you where you need to grow in obedience.

Write down questions as you read and find the answers later either by asking your pastor or finding another mature Christian who can assist you.
